Otherwise there is no possible way things such as being able to fly; monsters; thoughts of dead people interreacting with us; etc could occur. I've had dreams of being back in the 8th grade without realizing I am 25 years old and in Grad School. I've had dreams of being able to fly without knowledge of how I attained the power or a realization that gravity doesn't allow for it.
