What are the tax implications to me selling a second home that was never lived in, nor rented. I lost $.? It was built with the intent to move into, then when we were unable to sell our existing home, we were forced to eventually sell the new one. With about 10 months of mortgage and tax payments, homeowner's assn fees, electric and utility bills, real estate agent commissions, etc.; I lost about $40,000. What is the best way to handle this from a tax standpoint? It was never rented, nor did we ever live in it. This occurred in Florida.
How come the neither the ACLU nor the liberal mainstream media stood up for Michael Savage? How come the neither the ACLU nor the liberal mainstream media stood up for free speech when government officials attacked Michael Savage's first amendment rights? Wouldn't real liberals stand up for all speech, especially the speech that they disagree with? Isn't this the whole point of free speech? Was the ACLU was too busy defending the non-existent rights of illegal aliens and approving Muslim foot-baths at public universities? Sorry about the extra "the" in my question.
My landlord will not fix anything nor will he let me get someone else to. What can I do? The shower has been running since April and was made worse when one of the maintenance men came by past Saturday to "fix" it. Said was out dated, put back together (half-way as it is leaking EVERYWHERE!), & I have not seen nor heard from anyone no matter who I call since then. What can I do??? Isn't there a "help" line or something? Thanks for your time looking at my question. As I said, he will not let me NOR anyone else come in to fix it. And yes, it IS his responsibility as it says in the lease. He got pissed that I fixed the kitchen sink from doing this.
If energy is neither created nor destroyed, where did it come from? If energy is neither created nor destroyed would that mean that it lasts for ever? And if that is the case would it mean that universe also lasts forever? And then in that case the big bang theory being the beginning of time is not true? Since energy has always been then time would have always been as well?
Can my cat get any health problems by nursing when she is not the mother nor ever has been one? My cat has been nursing our newest kitten for about the past 2 months (I'm pretty sure no milk is produced and he does perfectly fine with his food). She is not his mother nor has she ever had kittens (she thinks she is his mom though). The kitten was 9 weeks when we got him and he started nursing from her a few weeks later. I thought it would stop relatively quickly since he was getting way too old to nurse but he is about 4 months now and she is still letting him nurse. Can she get any health problems from this or start having false pregnancies? If so how can i stop this behavior?

Why are bicycles not licenced nor needing insurance ? After all, they are considered vehicles and must follow and obey traffic laws, so why not make them act like the other vehicles, license and insurance. It might also cut down on crime by deterring bicycle theft. Perhaps promoting safer cycling operators.
I am a U.S. permanent resident but my wife is not a citizen nor resident can she become a permanent resident? I became a permanent resident 3 years ago through my daughter who sponsored me to become a resident. I am currently living and working in the United States for 3 years. My wife is not living with me because she is not a a permanent resident nor citizen but she is Canadian and we have been married for 32 years. If she is Canadian does she have more advantage than others? Also can I sponsor her to become a resident so she can come and live with me?
how do you keep cake from crumbling nor hardening? Hiii, I'm starting to get into make fondant cakes and the book says using spongecake is easier because it'll be easy to cut and it won't crumble. However, I was just watching a video and lady used chocolate cake and it worked completely fine. My question is how can I use something besides spongecake that won't crumble or harden (on the inside) if I leave it too cool so I can put the icing on. any other kind of cake besides spongecake that can work just as well??
